Working Visa Without a Job Offer:
You can apply for a UK Global Talent visa to work in the UK if you’re a leader or potential leader in one of the following fields:
- Academia or research
- Arts and culture
- Digital technology
Requirements for a Global Talent Visa:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be awarded 70 points from the relevant tables.
- You must have been awarded a qualified prize by the relevant body listed in Appendix Global Talent: Prestigious Prizes.
- You must have been issued with an endorsement letter by the relevant endorsing body; or
- You must have met the earned money requirement for an extension application.
Your prize or endorsement must not have been withdrawn or suspended.
Visa duration:
You can live and work in the UK for up to 5 years at a time under Global Talent visa. There’s no limit to how long you can stay in the UK in total, but you will need to renew (‘extend’) your visa when it expires. Each extension can last from 1 to 5 years.
Settlement / Indefinite Leave to Remain:
You may be able to get indefinite leave to remain (ILR) so you can settle in the UK after 3 or 5 years, depending on which field you work in and how you apply.
Partner and Children:
A partner and children can apply as dependants on this route if they are eligible.
