Working Visa without a Job Offer:

A Graduate visa permits you to stay in the UK for at least 2 years after successfully completing a course in the UK. This route is for a Student in the UK who wants to work or look for work, following the successful completion of an eligible course of study at a UK bachelor’s degree level or above. The study must have been with a higher education provider with a track record of compliance.

Requirements for Graduate Visa:

As part of our commitment to working in the best interests of our clients, we deal with each case as follows

  • You must be in the UK at the date of application.
  • You must have, or have last had, permission as a Student.
  • Your current visa must be a Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa.
  • you must have studied a UK bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree or other eligible course for a minimum period of time with your Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa.
  • your education provider (such as your university or college) must have notified the Home Office, by the date of application, that you’ve successfully completed your course.
  • You must meet other eligibility, suitability and validity requirements under Graduate Visa.

Visa Duration:

A Graduate visa lasts for 2 years. If you have a PHD or other doctoral qualification, it will last for 3 years.

Settlement:

The Graduate route is not a route to settlement.

Partner and Children:

A partner and children can apply as dependants on this route if they are eligible.

If your partner and children joined you in the UK as ‘dependants’ on your current Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa, they can apply to stay as dependants on your Graduate visa. If your child was born in the UK during your current Student or Tier 4 (General) student visa, they can also apply.
