• You are aged 18 or over;
• You have a valid Certificate of Sponsorship for the job you are planning to do;
• Your job offer is a genuine vacancy;
• Your job is at an appropriate skill level;
• you’ll be paid at least the minimum salary rate for the type of work you’ll be doing, –

-The minimum salary for the type of work you’ll be doing is whichever is the highest of:

            – £38,700 per year

            –  the ‘going rate’ for the type of work you’ll be doing

• Your sponsor has paid any required Immigration Skills Charge;
• You are competent in the English language to at least CEFR Level B1 (equivalent to IELTS 4.0);
• You have enough money to support yourself without relying on public funds;
• You have provided a criminal record certificate, if required; and
• You have provided a valid TB certificate, if required; and
• Any other requirements if applicable in your circumstances.
• You will be paid different salary rate if you work in some healthcare or education jobs, where the going rate is based on national pay scales. Your salary must be at least £23,200 – or more if your job’s going rate is higher.
• If you do not meet the usual salary requirements, and you do not work in healthcare or education, you might still be eligible if your salary will be at least £30,960 per year.
